How do I remove the dnn version from displaying in the page title on the site home page?

bar,

I think I found the answer.  I had the same question and no help.  I am new to DNN but I think this did the trick,  I am not sure of the side effects so proceed at caution.

In the default.aspx.vb file comment out  or delete the following

' show copyright credits?

If GetHashValue(Common.Globals.HostSettings("Copyright"), "Y") = "Y" Then

strTitle += " ( DNN " & PortalSettings.Version & " )"

End If

Again, I don't know of any side effects.... yet.  But it seems pretty harmless to take out an if statement in a for next loop.

Hope that helps

D

Login and select the settings for the "Home" page.
Under "Page Details", enter your desired text into the "Page Title:".
If this value is left blank the default "DNN: " [version] information is actually displayed.
