I set up my dns so it contains subdomain.domain.com and points to the DNN 4.34 root app. Main app is working when i use www.domain.com Then i created a child portal. I add subdomain.domain.com as one of the portal alias. So i test the new subdomain alias. But i get runtime error. What did i do wrong? This is my first time using 4.34. I have been using dnn 2.12 and it worked before but it seems the subdomain portal alias feature has been changed in 4.34?

Do the child domain resolve in DNS - not your dns - the registrar for your domain DNS?  I have sub domains and run two DNS servers......but still had to notify my registrar to add my sub domain to DNS.  Your DNS probably don't update the root servers............or the registrar's DNS servers....and if they do, then you have to allow time for the update to update DNS.
