    Hi how do we configure mail server (MS exchange server) to send mail through DNN?

Hi, Were you able to get this resolved?  I'm trying to achieive the same thing with our new Exchange 2007 server but am getting 5.7.3 Authentication errors.

Update... I ended up having to create a custom receive connector for the exch svr and assigning another ip addr. to the nic.

How hard was the custom connector to develop?  Would you post the code?

Allow me to re-phrase... I ended up having to create a custom Exchange Receive Connector on the Exchange server using the Exchange Management Console GUI and assigning another IP address to the NIC on the Exchange server.

So, to answer your questions, the custom Receive Connector gets created on the Exchange server instead of in your web code.  And yes, it's very easy to create (if you have admin access to your Exchange server of course).
