I can not download uploaded files error as follows:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
Parameter name: offset

Some questions:

What version of DNN are you using? 

What version of the documents module are you using?

Does this happen for all files, or just one file?

What is the file name/type?  

Are there any corresponding error messages in the site log?

Thanks for the response Anthony, I've gotten past this and onto other problems.

I'm trying to deal with the dozens of support requests revolving around folder permissions, "Don't have permissions" messages and files not downloading.

I'm sorry to say that the documents module has become almost un-usable for me becasue of the permissions issues. Trying to integrate folder permissions for editors was hard enough before, now try to make sure folders are protected from within the editor, yet available for downloads from the docuements and links module is impossible.

I liked it much better when it was a simple click to download process.

Sorry, just needed to vent...........
