I can second the Efficion Articles module, it is nice.

I can also say that the Orizonti NukeNews module is excelent and well done too. I use that on the news page of IDTA DekHockey website and have no complaints.

I installed the DNN standard blog module but decided to go with Ventrian. I was a bit confused by the standard DNN Blog module, so I have to admit I didn't spend a lot of time figuring it out. After struggling with it for a bit, I decided Ventrian was a better choice for me. I already use the module for articles really rather than blogs, but I have been extremely happy with the modules from them and the support.

There's also the janet.Articles module.

Orizonti NukeNews looks good, but cannot be localized.

janet.Articles is a bit more expensive and I couldn't find much info about it - it probably hasn't many users...

Ventrian seems to be the best way, but I am still waiting for new Efficion Articles - it is free and the coming version should be really interesting.
Thanks all for tips .

Here at the office we've developed an article management system we call AMS. It's primary use is on www.stlouischildrens.org but is also being used on a few other client sites. If you interested check out

http://www.engagesoftware.net/Services/DotNetNukeDevelopment/CustomModules/tabid/312/Default.aspx

I've also got it in limited use on www.natalieottiger.com as well as the foundation of a site I play with in my free time at www.modmyspaces.com.

It's a bit more expensive than the other modules mentioned, but the support and continued development that come with the module tend to make the sale for us.
