Hi,

The subject says it: How do I get the starterkit for 4.3.4 to work with Visual Studio 2005?  When I install it, it runs normally, but no love.  Doesn't show up in VS Studio projects afterwards.

Sorry for such a dumb question, but I can't seem to find a straight answer.

Dave

I have the same problem.

Have you find a solution for it?

Olivier,
No luck.  If you hear anything please post it here.  I'll do the same.

Thanks,
Dave Gerding

  • Close Visual Studio
  • Rename the "DotNetNuke_4.3.4_StarterKit.zip" to "DotNetNuke_4.3.4_StarterKit.vsi"
  • double click DotNetNuke_4.3.4_StarterKit.vsi
  • Click Next > Next > Next > etc.
  • Open Visual Studio
  • File > New Website...
  • It should be under Templates
