Thanks Jon.
I also had the problem on 3.2, will update the sites to 3.3 soon.
If successfull I will post it here.

I ended up taking out all the <div> tags and converting the page back from .ascx to .htm.  Now all is good. 

Basically, the problem was in the skin, not the containers.

I am having this issue as well, using DNN 5.6.0. The issue only seems to occur in Internet Explorer. The triangle jumps around  mostly to the bottom-right of it's original location.

for DNN 5.6.1 there is a known bug. Either disable compression in Host Settings or use new action menu from dnnmenuactions.codeplex.com
