How do i add or remove menu items from my top menu? without making a page invisible?

I see how to make a page veiwable or not viewable, but what if i have two separate menus and i want to decide for some pages to be listed on the top menu and others to be listed on the left menu.

This seems like it should be a very simple task for such a robust CMS, whats the deal?

 

 

i know what u mean. This is how i did it. It might not be what you really want..but :)
Login as administrator. From administrator menu choose Pages. Highlite the Page that you don't want to be
shown in the main menu and from right pane choose Edit ( the little pencil icon from Action menu).
Go to Advence Settings and check the "Hidden" option. Like this the link won't be displayed in the main menu.
However you can still provide a link to the hidden page.
Hope this will help you. I have around 20 pages for my side and the main menu was huge. I manage to replace the
default menu with my own and each item is 203 px wide. But now i'm happy with it.
