We have a DNN site with 3 child portals.  On only one of our child portals, when a user logs in and then tries to navigate away from the home page, they are logged out.  When they log back in, it returns them to the home page and the cycle continues.  This happens regardless of whether they are navigating to a page with which they have rights to edit or just another page in the portal.  We have tried recreating some pages and users, and we even tried to export the content into a test portal, and the problem went with it.  I am hoping to find a solution so that I do not have to recreate the portal.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

Which DNN version are you using. There have been changes in DNN 3.3.0/4.3.0 regarding this issue.

Are you seeing any errors in IIS concerning the sites? Perhaps the app is recycling and killing the authentication cookie and causing these logouts? Is the URL changing at all? Going to a different domain name?

What I have found out in the last few weeks is I need to first create my users on the parent portal, and then they will not be logged out on the child portal.  Does anyone have any ideas why this might be and how to fix it?
