I think it's a good idea.

I'll post it in our core team forum and get it on the agenda for our core team chat this week.

I brought this up in core team chat, and in our private forums.

I couldn't convince anyone that it was a good idea, so I guess the answer is no.

If Lee has one on his site, then maybe that would be a good place to centralize those questions.

Hmmm - that surprises me - I would have thought it would be common sense to get rid of these posts from the other Forums and have a core place to discuss it, but I'm sure someone has a good reason if not...

This has been suggested several times, and a lot of people liked it--are you at liberty to share the counter-argument?

This is going to sound more cynical than it is meant, but.....yet another example of how the "mothership" is becoming less and less useful & relevant!  While there is not (and should not) be any discouragement of Core Team members running their own sites, that DotNetNuke.com does not care to cater to one of the most important--AND MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED--question topics is sad.  And so something so critical is left to others to host on their own resource sites--and good luck to the newbies finding those....so sorry to these generous hosters for the extra burden they have to take on...

It's pretty funny that Joe Brinkman's latest blog post cites hosting services as so critical to DotNetNuke.com--and the project overall--succeeding...

The main counter argument is that there are already forums to handle these types of questions, mainly the Install It! forum.
