I am hoping that someone can help.

I am trying to re-create the behaviour of Services.Upgrade.Upgrade.InstallDNN in a dotNET project of my own, where (I am sure everyone knows) the progress of the install is shown on one aspx page without any refreshing etc.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how this is done and provide a code example if possible?

Regards

Luke

It's done by using Response.Flush() after each Response.Write so that output is not buffered.

The example is in <dnnroot>\Install\Install.aspx.vb

Wow... It is as simple as that.

Thanks.

No problem.

Don't we wish they were all that simple?
