Yeah that does seem to be a problem.  It will get fixed though pretty soon.  In the mean time you can delete the file through the file manager and then run Maintenance option for the album.

Cheers,

Paul Davis

Paul,

Is there any clue as to when a new release is due? You say 'pretty soon', but I think we've been anticipating for sometime now. I've even gone to the point of buying a gallery for a site I'm trying to pass off, but it's not quite right, so I'm keen to use the core one.

Any news would be good.

Roger, I am stepping in here as Paul is very new to our team. We are actually just getting together as a team and Tam has just returned to us. Right now the team is made up of us plus Nestor all of which I know will be active. There is another member still but I am waiting to hear back from them.

As someone (meaning Roger) who has been following this module patiently, I want to tell you something to work with but I have been burned so many times by the community by being off I refuse to give anything more out than some type of 'hopeful timeframe'. So I can give you the best idea, at this point I think a pretty soon release is still more than thirty days away.

Chris, as always thanks. I recognise your work is voluntary, and didn't want you to give any real commitment, just a view, which is what you have done.

The coding that you, Paul and Tam do, is simply out of my reach (mainly through time to learn), so I take what you do and tweak to correct those things that cause me the greatest grief (usually dates).

The biggest problem with this module (for me), is the data access layer, with fairly regular errors in the log due to IO errors. When that is changed from xml files to database, I should be able to progress again. I will of course offer up any bug fixes I can to the community.
