I am trying to install dotnetnuke on a remote web server using visual basic studio 2005.  I previously and stupidly tried publishing and copying the site which runs happily on my xp box.  However both these options actually required access to the localhost.  So I am now trying a clean install.

I've copied the 4.3.2 source files (website) to the root of the ftp server.  VB 2005 reports a successful build but when I try to get to default.aspx I get a message which tells me

"

File D:\virtualservers\057535\root\Portals\_default\\Logs\LogFailures.xml.resources
Error   Access to the path 'D:\virtualservers\057535\root\Portals\_default\Logs\LogFailures.xml.resources' is denied. The Windows User Account listed below must have Read/Write Privileges to this path.
"

There is no account listed below.  The file does not exist although it does in my home build.

What am I doing wrong, and what can I do to put it right?

Many thanks in advance.

Jay Rubinstein
