I can't stay logged in with DNN 4.3.4.

This applies to multiple installations on multiple servers, so it's not a server issue. It's consistent across every DNN 4.3.4 installation I'm using.

I've followed the instructions from http://dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/233/Default.aspx, but that doesn't seem to help. I set the forms timeout to a ridiculously high number (90 days). Still getting logged out automatically.

There is no "slidingExpiration" property in the web.config, but there is a "cookieSlidingExpiration". It is set to true by default, while the timeout is set to 100000. And I still get logged out.

I can't be the only one having this problem.

Has anyone managed to solve it?

I installed 4.3.4 for one of my customers on Brinkster, and that is the only installation of DNN I'm having trouble with.  I'm inclined to think this problem we are experiencing is a server configuration issue, but I actually hope I'm wrong.  If it's a DNN config issue I can fix that, else I have to beg,wait,beg,wait for Brinkster to *maybe* update the config of the shared server.

There used to be an issue with loggin out but thought that was fixed.

Does this happen with the host? or Admin or some other permission?

is it happening on child portals only?

I'm seeing this while logged in as host, in the only portal existing for this DNN install.

ok next question, does it happen after you update? or is it immediate?  what module are you in?
