When you say Project, are you referring to the fact that you cant see a SKIN Template for the C# sharp option?  Are asking how to create a SKIN or a project using C#?  The starter kit only show the skin template if you select VB language but you can still create a SKIN separately and use C# for your script language in the module.

If you install the starter kit, you should be able to get a "core" DNN install going, THEN you right-click on the project and select "add item".  From there you can choose to add a new module using the DNN template that you installed with the starter kit.

A word of caution about the starter kit... for the c# version it has an error in the code beside page for the view_yourModuleName.ascx.cs page.  It is using a VB syntax & when it should be using a + sign for string contcantentation.

Also, the module WILL NOT run.  My troubleshooting shows that the generated code wants to use the display template data for the module (controls the way the module displays data and can be set in the Settings when logged in as an admin).  I think there is supposed to be default code in the localization files that is missing.

If you want to run from the template, just paste in some rendering data from the Announcements module and change any [FIELDNAME] fields to match your columns in your database.

Hope that helps...

thanks for ur reply... you are right that i cant see a skin templete. So this Nuke 4.3.4 project is creating with  VB language. Now if i add a module choosing language C#,isnt'  that, there will be a chance of conflict language problem. i mean to saythat the project and the module is with different language. So  is there any solution to over come it?

thanks

I think I am having the same problem.
I am following this tutorial:
http://www.codeproject.com/aspnet/Creating_A_DNNModule.asp

In there it links to Shaun Walkers, Start Kit setup, which I go through also.

I create a "new module" (C#) using the template.  I rename the folders, to the module name. When I try and do the Module definition (which means I have to go to my dnn site) I get this error:

The files '/DNNModules/App_Code/MyModule/DataProvider.cs' and '/DNNModules/App_Code/AssemblyInfo.vb' use a different language, which is not allowed since they need to be compiled together.

I assume this means I have to create the module using VB.NET?

Is there any way around this?  I tried to create a C# version of the AssemblyInfo file, but that obviously doesn't work.

If all else fails I will "limp" by using VB.NET (I am used to using C# exclusively)

Thanks!
