Hello,

I have tryed to install DotNetNuke on Quantasoft. The server has no control panel, and the chmod option disabled. I get the following error:


Unauthorized Access Error

Error Details

FileI:\Data\Web\qsh.eu\mydomain\www\Portals\_default\\Logs\LogFailures.xml.resources
Error  Access to the path 'I:\Data\Web\qsh.eu\mydomain\www\Portals\_default\Logs\LogFailures.xml.resources' is denied. The Windows User Account listed below must have Read/Write Privileges to this path.

Can you help me please?

I ran into the same problem myself. Make sure that the correct file permissions are set. NETWORK SERVICES for server and ASPNET for client must have read/write/modify permissions for everything under your site's root folder.

Hey Toni.

What do you mean exactly with the words

"for server" and "for client"

as soon as i understand there is only 1 folder?, or are u meaning about server and client windows edition?

I had the same problem, and i am pretty sure that the folder permisions are given.

The version i am working for is 5.5

What exactly do you mean with server and client?

Is that term referred to the version of windows in case what u use windows server or vista/windows 7?

I have facing the same problem my version of windows is 2008  server and i am using sql express 2008 too.
