After messing up my config file, and completely messing up my site I decided to upgrade to 4.3.4.  However, as before I can't get past the error page:  the url is http://www.tech4u.co.uk/Default.aspx?tabid=36&error=Object+reference+not+set+to+an+instance+of+an+object.&content=0

I am sure this is a problem with one of the database tables but I have no idear which one or how to rebuild.  How can I find out where the error lies?

Please help as almost ready to give up - and I brought the book!

It looks like now you've got bigger issues in that the site won't even bring up an error page. What is the error it gives you now? (I can't see the error because of the custom errors setting in the web.config file)

I have set the RemoteOnly tag in the web.config file to Off.  Now I am back to:

 

Server Error in '/' Application.

The resource cannot be found.
