Does anybody know of a DNN 4.x jobs module out there that will advertise and display "positions vacant"?

Many thanks in advance!

Alex

There are a few out there on Snowcovered. We (engage software) ended up creating a custom solution for a recent project, I'll have to see if we're going to be releasing that as a commercial module or not though.

Have you had a look at using something like XMod to create one?

Xmod is exactly what I used to create one of these. It works well for us.

I've tried XMod several times now - in fact, went and bought it again not long ago.. and I just had to remove it.. unless I've got the sites running in their own application pool, I found it just throws xml errors which stops the server if you make even a single mistake. And it concerns me with the use of XML in this fashion on sites with alot of traffic.  I love the diversity of it, but never been convinced running xml in this fashion. (perhaps I can't get rid of the nightmares of products running under XML that don't work well in high traffic and writing to xml files)

I have used the products from DotNetJedi and the clients seem to be happy. It does require some skinning in my opinion, but the Job Board is here.

Currently I'm skinning the auto module and, recently skinned the Real Estate module. They seem to work on the same principle.

My thoughts on this module are that I wish it didn't save the images to the desktopmodules/AutoDealer/ folder - which it does, instead of writing to the Portal folder.

All these things you find out.. after you're committed... some of which make you feel you need to be committed!!
