I'm new to DotNetNuke (DNN). So far, for a newbie, I think DNN is awesome. I never thought an interactive website would be possible for someone as ignorant with computers and the internet as me. But DNN appears to be very user friendly. I just have one problem.

The Stylesheet Editor. It doesn't appear to be working for me. I go to Common Tasks > Site > Stylesheet Editor, and I add in a background color (for example). I click on "Save Style Sheet" then I click on "updated" and nothing happens. Can someone give me an example on how to change the background color in the Stylesheet Editor? A line of code? Below is what I've entered in (maybe someone can see how I'm doing it wrong).

/* background color for the content part of the pages */
Body
{ background-color: #000000
}

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have an article that explains about how the stylesheet editor works.

Bascially - you can change the background colour of your site using the style sheet editor but when you read how DotNetNuke works with CSS, it might give you an idea on why you can't see the effects of it.  If you want to change the background colour of a skin you need to check the skin itself doesn't have css
