I need to have a user be notified for EVERY post on a particular forum group. I know this can be done if the user clicks the notify box on each new thread, but is there a way to do it globally?

I have users who need to monitor the forums but not moderate.

Is this possible now? Can it be added? Similar to notification for new threads but notification for all posts or default notification on?

There's a checkbox to enable notifications from the forum when new posts are made. It can be found at the bottom of the chosen forum.

Yes, but I need this to be a global feature, so that a user can get all posts email to them without having to go into each thread and select to be notified.

This is part of the per users profile within the forums module.  It is up to them to select which forums they are 'subscribed' to.  For example, I am receiving notification for the core team forum on here.  I receive an email each time there is a new thread started or a new post posted as a reply,quote, etc.

I think there may be a bug w/ the popup selector in this current release, but the module does do what you desire.

This feature doesn't seem to be working in my install.  From my user profile, when I try to add a forum to my subscription list, the search never finds any forums.

Do I have something setup wrong?
