Well, it looks like there is a problem with their rss feed.  They aren't formatting the pubDate correctly.  Some readers will allow non-standard date formats, but from what I've seen if the date doesn't conform to the standard, most readers will just show a blank date.

A valid date format is something like: "Sun, 24 Oct 2006 20:05:01 GMT" or "24 Oct 2006 20:05:01 GMT"

...but they are using: "9/22/2006 4:08:00 PM EST"

I don't know what kind of stylesheet you are using, but you could probably just display the pubDate directly, without any formatting, since you are more than likely in the same timezone.

Into your stylesheet just use something like:

Date/Time: <xsl:value-of select="pubdate"/>

You can use the default stylesheet that comes with the News module as a base.  It's in the DesktopModules\News directory, named RSS91.xsl.  Just make a copy of that, do whatever changes you need to it, then put it in your portals file manager.

Then under 'Edit Newsfeed', Select 'Link Type' of 'File' for 'News Feed Style Sheet', and select your new xsl stylesheet from the drop down.
