Scottsdale: 09/12/2006: Webacuity announces the release of AcuitiDP - Oracle Data Provider for DotNetNuke (version 3.3.4 and version 4.3.4). With this release, the oracle data provider has now been renamed to AcuitiDP to bring it inline with the other products which Webacuity offers.

AcuitiDP - the Oracle Data Provider for DotNetNuke can now be purchased from
snowcovered.com for the most current releases of DotNetNuke (version 3.3.4 and version 4.3.4). There are several core modules which have also been updated (for Oracle) in this release. Additionally functionality has also been incorporated into the core provider which allows users to check for the existence of procedures/sequences/tables before executing a given statement in the SQL file. This allows module developers to be able to check explicitly for objects before running specific scripts - note that this functionality is NOT available out of the box with Oracle.

The providers have been tested against Oracle 9i, 10g and 10 Express.

Existing Enterprise Edition users can download a copy of the 3.3.4 and 4.3.4 data provider from
http://dnnsupport.webacuity.com

Send an email to
dnnsupport@webacuity.com if you don't already have a User ID and password for the support website.

Thanks

Webacuity Team.
