I don't know if you ahve ever tried to login to MSDN before or not but I would like to some what copy their layout for our login.  I would like to have 2 boxes so to speak.  I would like one to login at and one for new users with additional information  above the link/button.  I think this would help aleviate some confusion I have on my page.  I have tried to figure this out on my own but have come up short.  If there is a way to do this could you please point me to where I need to read that I may have over looked or something it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt

I don't know if I posted this in the right spot or not if not please direct me to where I should post.  Or have I phrased the question silly.  If you are reading this and don't understand what I am asking I would be happy to rephrase.

Thanks, Matt

This isn't really a skinning question, but the moderators didn't move it, so...

Follow these steps:
Make a new page named "Login" or some name you like, and set permission to "All Users".
Drop an "Account Login" module on the new page.
Put in text/html module(s) to convey your additional content.

Go to Admin --> Site Settings, scroll down to Advanced Settings --> Page Management and chose your new page for the Login Page.
This navigates the user to your new page whenever he clicks "Login".

Now you can set permissions as needed on the modules on your new login page - just be careful you don't set them to lock yourself out!
The Account Login module and the page itself must at least be available to "Unauthenticated Users".
If you decide to undo this setup later, be sure and change the Login Page under Admin --> Site Settings back to <None Specified> first, or risk locking yourself out.

First where would be the more appropriate place to put this?  And second I know about the login module and is kind of the way i am wanting to go, but the problem is that my client also want's to spruce it up a little.  Different fonts colors and to be able to have two seperate boxes one for logging in and one for new members.  So I can't split the login module up can I?  If so then I could just through skinning and css sheet editing I bet I could spruce it up enough.  I would just like to be able to modify the module's aspx.  Is that possible?

Sam,

Thank you very much for the info. Just what I have been searching for!! Will the same procedure work for a "New User" and Registration? I'm a newb to DNN and did not see a Registration Module.

Any thoughts?

THanks
