Does anyone now if DNNGuide (http://www.dnn.com.au/) is for real?  I found a link to it here and thought I'd buy the manual they were offering.  That was a few days ago and I haven't recieved the promised email with a link to the download.  So I figured I'd visit the site to find an email to ask if there was a problem.  Lo and behold, that site is now gone (or just down right now, not sure).

Anyone know if this is for real or if I should try to stop payment on the order?

Note:

This site is back up at least so I'm felling better.  Was able to find an email and sent that off so I'll post if/when I get a reply and how it all turns out as I don't want this thread to tarnish anyones good reputation if it all turns out its just a bit slow.  Was just freaking out this morning after not hearing anything and the site was gone

Wow, that's a first... I can't imagine them being a *scam* since they provide alot of the information here on the DotNetNuke site - but what I think could have happened is mail to you might have been blocked or gone astray - it does from time to time.

Normally when you purchase items like this you get instant access to the files and you can see them when logged in.

I'd be using their contact form.  I purchased a product from them about a month ago without any problems at all.

By the way - yesterday - in Australia, which is where their site is, and my site too, I had an outage for about 20 mins, which was in fact a network error. If you typed in my site it brought up google search. There was a network problem which affected alot of sites.

I've just visited the site and it came up straight away.

You know, I really think your email must have gone astray - why don't you log in and see if the files are there to download for you. DotNetNuke does this type of work automatically - the downloads should be there.

Yes, I agree.  I purchased the a paypal Store Mod for 3x way before 4.0 came out and it had 90% of the same features.  I instantly had access to everything i needed.  They are great people and I havent had problems in the past at all.

I have been trying to get the DNN guide, too, and their site is showing a timeout server error for days now. That is by clicking a straight link from the DNN online help here.
