Hi,

Today I add 1000 simple pages containing 3 HTML Text module (simple text without images)  to my DNN (4.3.4) and now, to display a page, I must wait 8 seconds.

(my application run on a dedicated server with bi processor)

Any idea ?

Our next release after the 3.3.5/4.3.5 (which was released yesterday) will have a ton of performance enhancements.  Charles Nurse has been doing a lot of testing and tuning and you should see a marked improvement once this release is out.  I do not have a timeframe on this yet as we are working on getting an environment prepared that will allow us to do detailed and repeatable performance and load testing.

Here is a link to the old post - http://forums.asp.net/thread/1024204.aspx. Certainly, current versions of DNN cache data about every page on every request (this is used for calculating breadcrumb navigation and some other housekeeping). So, sites with MANY pages will slow down. This may not be your issue, but it could be part of the problem.

One solution is to use some type of Content management module so that you only have one page (one TabID) in DNN, but it can display different articles based on a parameter.

Curlyfro, you remembered. How goes OTB?
