I'm looking for information on how to configure DNN to authenticate against a non-LDAP server.  I've searched the forums and the Net in general.  I keep seeing references to DNN supporting non-AD LDAP, but nothing concrete on how to do it.  Shaun Walker has also stated in his "Professional DotNetNuke 4: Open Source Web..." book that DNN will work with OpenLDAP.  I've tried following the steps for AD and making some guesses, but I haven't had success.

The details:  I'm trying to authenticate against eDirectory.  It's fully LDAP compliant.  I have several other apps that authenticate against it, but I'm having no with DNN.

Any help (links, code, directions, thoughts, etc.) will be appreciated. If I can use the ASDIAuthenticationProvider, how do I set it up?

My site is designed and ready to go live, I just need to get the authentication piece to work.

Thanks!
Scott
