Does anyone know of a module that allows for the creation of online tests?

I have found a couple of quiz modules over on snowcovered, but they aren't flexible enough. The module needs to be able to display a random selection of questions from a set of predefined categories and store the results by user.

Can be free or commercial.

Also,  what about a module that allows users to  mark content as read? So that they can review a lot of information and see where they have got to.

Before spending any money, you might want to contact the Survey module team.  They have an update scheduled for release in October (originally scheduled for September, I believe) that they indicate will include testing functionality.  I don't have a link to the relevant thread, but it was fairly recent.

I'm not sure if they will support the random selection and/or categorization that you require, but it may be enough of what you're looking for.  Good luck!

HI, looking for just such a module myself for a project, was considering creating one.

I have read lots of people talking about NSurvey being taken into DNN, but can not actually find anything that can be downloaded, seems to be released in the forums at www.nsurvey.org/forums which does not work.

Did you find and answer ?  Does anybody know where the nSurvey DNN module can be downloaded from.
