Error Installing DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 03.03.05

ERROR: Could not connect to database specified in connectionString for SqlDataProvider

every body help me .. how can i do.

This message is rather self-explanatory:  your application isn't able to connect to the database.  Try testing by logging into the database using the same username and password with the database client.  For more info related to SQL Server Express connection strings, refer to this thread:

This is obviously a problem with DNN connecting to your database; and it can't run the install script to setup your dnn.

1.   Have you checked the connection string settings in web.config ?

2.   Ensure that you have setup the database settings correctly and that you have a valid login ( as per the connection string).

3.   If you have any database qury tool, perhaps you could check the connection info there first.
