Hi,

I am now editing (web mastering) a DNN site and iexplore.exe memory usage is in the range of 395 - 411 MB, MegaBytes that is. That is rather a lot, isn't it?

Windows 2003, internet explore 6.0 (all with latest SP-s), latest DNN version.

Best regards, Peter

Are you experiencing that on any other sites, or only on your DNN site?

Hi,

This is our first DNN site

I don't have a web master account on any other DNN site, so I cannot tell. I am sure it is the iexplore.exe of the/our DNN site that I am editing (only one iexplore opened, I know a thing or 2 about windows).
I cannot upload image (security...) but it is in Windows Task Manager and then Mem usage and VM size. Now I am editing the home page and mem usage is 442 and 493 MB (but mem usage is similar on all pages). The home page has these modules:

Text
Menu
Text
News feed
News feed
Text
Text
Text
Text
Search
Text

So basically nothing spectacular.

I have 750 MB RAM on my laptop so it still functions, but later the webmaster will have to edit the site on a PC with probably much less RAM (256MB)...

Beste regards, Peter
