I've got a repository set up at http://lcrane.ca/Home/Downloads.aspx, but when I try downloading the file, it appears to be getting truncated.

I have an email cloaker httpModule installed for the site, but disabling it does not correct this error.
I've also replaced the URLRewrite module with the Ventrian systems Friendly URL module, but changing this back does not correct the error either.

Checking the file on the server, I see that the entire file has been uploaded correctly.

Any ideas?

When using Firefox with the repository, any files with a space in them will have the filenames truncated at the space when you try to download them.

The workaround I've found is to either to only upload files without spaces, or go into the source code of RepositoryBL.vb and do something like:

strFileName = strFileName.Replace(" ", "_")

...in the DownloadFile sub.

In this case, it's not the file name getting truncated, it's the file itself.

(FWIW, I'm using IE)

I have turned off compression on IIS, and it has fixed the problem.

Is there any way to be able to have IIS compression turned on without getting the files truncated?
