My application dynamically adds a new tab using only t-sql.  Therefore, among other things, I add the permissions for the tab as well as the module included on this tab.  I have compared the values in the TabPermissions table for the tabs added using the normal dnn method, and my dynamic way and there are no differences in the permissions, and are as follows:

TabPermission table
tabid
permissionid
roleid
allowaccess
description
1
3
0
true
administrator can view system tab
1
4
0
true
administrator can edit system tab
1
3
-1
true
all users can vew system tab

I also add the correct values in the ModulePermissions table.

Unfortunately, when i dynamically add a tab with the above settings, I get the following error:
You do not have access to view this tab within the portal.
Is there another table I need to modify?
Thanks in advance,
Caley

It turns out I have been assigning the correct permissions while dynamically adding the page as well as the module.  I thought it was odd that "All users" could not view the page but it was no problem for the Host to view it.  The fault occurs when the page has been expired, i.e. the enddate is reached or surpassed.  When inserting another tab in the Tabs table, simply insert a NULL value in Tabs.StartDate and Tabs.EndDate as to not restrict the viewability of the tab.
Thought I'd wrap up this thread.
