Hi Friends

I create modules in DNN3.1.1  using of Template that downloaded from DNNJungle so i don't debug all modules and just one module has been debuged.but in DNN4.3.3 for create modules i should debug a solution that has many modules and it get very time.

dou you know a better solution that create modules without this method?

thanks in advanced.

Maybe we can sticky a topic "How do we create modules in DNN 4.X?"

This is the only usable way I've found, and will be the most familiar to you if you're transitioning from 1.1 to 2.0. There are no fancy DNNJungle templates out there, but I never really used them -- they were more of a guide.

This is the other method that may or may not be useful to you. It's easier, but it's not precompiled into a DLL:

portalrditd,

my approach resembles the DNN 3.x one in many way, mostly in simplicity... you can try it out and let me know if you have any questions?

PortVista,

Thanks for mentioning my site, as for the templates... you never know what the future brings

My team had the requirement to keep our modules as separate assemblies and utilize DNN 4.  There's been quite a bit of talk about the Web Application Project framework.  For us, this method solved our problem, and we can create a DNN4 module very similarly to how it was done in DNN3.  The only real difference is the SQLDataProvider is not a separate project.  For me, that is not an issue.  I've detailed the steps to setup your development environment to create DNN modules as Web Application Projects.

I hope this helps.
