I read through the documentation and am frustrated with how different my Events module looks than the help screenshots.  I would like my users to be able to enter events that last all day, aka without a time.  According to the online help the time field is optional but in my installation (4.3.2 upgraded to 4.3.5) the screens look different.  The time field is not optional, it is manditory.  Is there some way for me to make this field operate like it does in the online help?

Thanks!

Matt

I found that if I enter 00:00:00 for the time, nothing shows on the calendar.  This makes it possible to list an event without a time being posted.

Thanks, Lenniaj... but how werew you able to enter 00:00:00 for the time?  My only choices are 12:00AM through 11:30PM and setting the start and end at 12:00AM don't do the trick.

I am using Open-Events and it allows me to enter the time but requires it to be in a set format of HH:MM:SS.

I used the module called Smart-Thinker Events for awhile and it had settings for the time that were in a drop down and I just selected whatever was close to the actual time.... but this was one of the reasons I no longer use the Smart-Thinker and changed to Open-Events.  It's more user friendly and allows you to put in an ending date for weekend or week-long events.  There are other reasons too.  I recommend the Open-Events from DNN.

Lennia
