Is there any link directory modules out there so that Admin can add the directory categories, and a visitor can add a link in a particular category and admin can approve or reject it?

thanks.

The Repository module can allow users to add content which is moderated.  Admins can set up categories.  It is fully skinnable.  I have used it for a customized business card directory and it worked well.   The doc with it is pretty good too.

I have recently implemented the "Business Directory" module from www.IBuySpySolutions.com (which is not for sale on SnowCovered - only on their website). You can take a look at it on www.WisWeddingPlanner.com and click on the "Local Businesses" tab. You can moderate / approve listings and have certain roles only be able to add their listings. I wasn't able to use the repository module because you can't add custom fields. I would definetly recomend the IBuySpy directory module, it is very easy to implement and install and if you need any help they respond very quickly.
