Replacing the DHTML Editing Control in Windows Vista and Beyond

Summary: The DHTML Editing Control will not be included in Windows Vista. Web pages and Windows applications that use the control must be modified to continue to provide a WYSIWYG HTML Editor.

Does the FCK editor use this? What about the FTB editor? If so, how are they working in Firefox, Netscape etc because this announcement seems to relate just to an IE component?

FCKeditor doesn't use any .ocx and FTB either, so take it easy and relax

FCKeditor is pure javascript

I've been running Vista (RC1 for the past week or so) for a while now and have had no problems with any of the editors.
