Yes, it's possible. As for which "base" should you use? Do you mean which package? You can download the starter kit, the install, or the source version, either of those should work on VS 2005.

what kind version of SQL can i instal on my pc with xppro

You can either install 2000 or 2005 developer version or you can use MSDE or SQL 2005 express. Either of these will work with DNN on an XP installation.

what is the diference RAM max, MAXI DB base(Go) , and connexions number?


MSDE
SQL 2005 express(free)

SQL 2005 Standard
SQL 2005 Enterprise
SQL 2005 Developer version

Microsoft Windows Server "Longhorn" and Microsoft Windows Vista use only SQL Server 2005 SP1, msde  and 2000 are out ?
SQL 2005 express take the place of MSDE ?
