I've searched the forums and Google, and did not see a fix for this.
When the search engines index our DNN sites, they also index the login page for each of the pages in the site (due to the login link at the bottom of the page).
Our programmer is busy with other projects at the moment, so I'm looking to the experts for help :)
I was wondering if someone had a "quick fix" for this, perhaps a "301 Moved Permanently" to a single login page trick?

Thanks in advance!

Hi cfreek,

I experienced a similar issue with my site, so I extended the FriendlyURL provide to do a variety of things, including only have 1 login, register, terms, privacy page, etc.

It's a free download and you can find more information here:-

I'm interested in hearing your feedback.

On another note, you could always just set a "single login page" in site settings. This will allow your login links to always point to the same page, the way you can do it, is to create a page, add the login control, and then set that page as the login page for your site.

The "single login page" is a good idea, not sure why I didn't think of that... Guess I was overthinking the issue. Thank's for your help.

The module you mentioned looks quite handy, I will be setting it up on a testing site in a day or two, and will be more than happy to provide feedback. Which of the contact emails is best to contact you at?

Thanks again!

(In after thought)
In the mean time, how to "redirect", or "noindex" the pre-existing "login" pages, which show up SERPS?

Scott,

I notice you have a 'Private Messages' project avatar but I cannot find that project in the list?
