Just wanted all of you to know I am not ignoring the issue.  I cannot recreate it in the version in vault now.  I am trying to make sure this isn't a problem for the next release.  The release, btw, is getting close.

Hi,

this error seems to appear in my site in conjunction with another error (generated at the same time, in the same page). Take a look at my exceptions from the lov viewer:

Greetings, I got this problem just yesterday for no apparent reason. I was not working in the gallery at the time but uploading some modules I was building.  Initially I started debugging down through the framework code to see if I could trace the point the exception was being thrown.  I ran out of time, but on cranking up the ol’ box this morning, everything is working fine.

I checked my event logs and found the following event occurred around the time that the problems first started.

Event ID 15: Automatic certificate enrollment for local system failed to contact the active directory (0x8007054b).  The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

I am running a windows XP box connected to a windows 2000 Advanced Server running active directory . There does appear to be some issues with  the ‘AutoEnrollment’ service as it fails to enroll in the morning when I log in and then retries every 6 hours ie. mid-afternoon when I get my Object reference error.

Could it be that the 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' message is security/permissions related? Can anyone back me up with this by checking their Application Event logs for corroborating events?
