Hi,
I have in one web server some asp.net application,
i want to implement forums & blogs ASAP so i installed
DNN on the same web server (different DB).

The main issue is connecting the main application with DNN:
Registration & Login.
When some user is being registered to the main application
he should be automatically be registered with DNN,
and the same for login.

Do u have any good & quick ideal how to accomplish this?

Thanks.

If your other application also uses the ms membership provider you can have both applications look at the same membership tables. Alternatively, you could write your own membership provider ;)...

Thanks Erik,
But as i wrote they are using different DB and anyway the main application
does not use membership provider.

I was thinking of two options:
1. Install some assembly at the GAC which register new DNN user.
The main application will simply call that assembly (some method).

2. The main application will call some custom page in the DNN directory
which will insert the new user details into DB.

What are u saying?
Where can i find DNN registration & login core functions?
Is there some DNN function who make user log-in or registering?

your option 1 seems workable. You can find the core routines in the dnnmembership provider, they are being called from the Registration page....

Problem is i need to make users login (when user logs into the main application
he must also be logged in to dnn, the main application must call some code to achieve this)
If i'll use GAC or web service, they can't make the user login because they are running
outside the user session in the browser (how can they call the session object?).

Any ideas?
