A friend of mine wants to create a weekly newspaper website.
I am a complete newbie on website creation.
I want to create a simple website, something like this:

My first idea is to have a bunch of containers, place on each of them
a text/html module, put some text and possibly a picture in each
one of them and a link to "read more".
For each "read more" I would have a DNN page which would contain just one
text/html module with the full article.

There has to be a better way. It is very difficult for my friend to learn
this process and I do not want to be called every week to place his articles
on the website.

I looked at the Announcements module. It is interesting, but I do not think it allows
the kind of formatting I need.
Placing in each container one Announcements module would probably work
but then the articles would be spread all over the place.
It seems to me (I could be wrong), that I need a central repository where I would
publish my articles and some other module which can be placed in different containers
with some text and a link to a article.
Or there could be just one module that can display the articles in a configurable way.

I would appreciate if I could hear some ideas on how to do what I have in mind.
Are there any modules that do what I need? Or, are there other ways of accomplishing
this?
