HI All,

We have installed 4 Dnn installations according to the our service providing on the server. We create and add each site in the respective DNN. Till now we have created 5 sites i.e

knowledge.editage.com (Created DNN1 Installation and planning to add more sites in the same DNN1 Installation)
http://www.cripton.com/ (Created in DNN2 Installation and planning to add more sites in the same DNN2 Installation)
http://www.editage.cn/ (Created in DNN3 Installation and Planning to add more Site in the same DNN3 Installation)
http://www.cactusglobal.com/ (Created in DNN4 Installation and more site in the same DNN4 Installation)

In knowledge.editage.com has shopping cart module and other modules and rest other three web sites are just a static websites and using mostly all default modules except form module.

What we feel is all our websites above loads very slow specially knowledge.editage.com website. This sites(knowledge.editage.com) takes minimum 3-4 min. to load the websites (home page). We have observed that When the sites hit i.e.  http://www.cription.com/ or http://www.editage.cn/ or http://www.cactusglobal.com/ in the task manger , performace tab it shows the cpu usage 100% for atleast 5-6 min. and for knowledge.editage.com it shows the cpu usage 100% for at least 15-20 min. Here are all my queries.

1) Is the above problem occurs because we installed 4 DNN installation which cause the server slow?
2) Is it the problem with the site itself?
3) How we increase the Site performance and loading time?
4) How to increase the Server performance and reduce the minimum CPU usage time?
5) Can this problem occur because of any modules?
6) Is DNN it self is slow?
7) Is there any specification or documentation which has the steps to reduce the site folder size , reduce server load , increase the site performance and increase the site loading time etc?

It is very important to slove the above problem. Please let me know all answers of above queries.

Thanks,
Ashok Naidu

I think DNN itself is slow, you can make things better with caching and keep alive pages,
detect slow modules.
Try make stresst test on some empty dnn page, then make the same test
on the same page with some of your modules.
See the differences. This will help u understand which is the source for your performance problem.

We at http://360website.net/ offer DNN maintenance and support service. Try it once and experience the change.

Yep, DNN by default is sluggish.

I ran your site through PageRank to give you an idea of where to start, and how it compares to the DNN mothership site.

Whenever facing performance issues, you need to identify the root of the problem. It might be code of DNN Core or a 3rd party extension on the Webserver or in the database as well as clientside code (JavaScript) executed on the client side - by a module or skin. Next, you may identify the concrete component and nail down the causing action, in order to fix it.
