It would be nice to know if you know of a current road map of the blog module.  Are there plans to allow the administrators to completely manage the entire blog module and the number of blogs it contains?  I realize that due to the situation at hand, you may not know the answer to this question.

[EDIT]
The answer will directly affect whether I will look for an alternative module, or create my own.
[/EDIT]

On a separate note, an open source initiative of this size should really make a better effort to keep a project team lead position filled.  We all have personal issues to deal with, whether they are health related, family related, etc. Unfortunately, we will never be without them.  However, even if the team lead position needs to be reassigned for a temporary basis so that any personal problems can be resolved, all DNN projects need to retain a full level of support.  That was just my two cents.  Take it for what it is and even ignore it if you'd like.  :)  I am not trying to offend anyone.  I hope all is well with HP.  I mean no ill will and wish hardship on no one.

At the minute there is no fixed plans for the roadmap, first we need to reassemble a team, then work on the roadmap.

As to the project lead position, I don't wish to comment as I wish to respect Hans-Peter's privacy, but I know if he could have continued, he would. Scott blogged a little on this area recently, as we're working to ensure that situations are handled more adeptly:

Thank you for the links to the blog postings.  I have them on my RSS reader, but I obviously do not get to check them as often as I should.

Hello akilhoffer,

I think I had the same "problem" than you, and I found a trick, with the help of Philip. You can find our discussion here. If you set up in the module options your "Personnal Blog Page" (and you indicate the name of your blog), then it works as you would like (you do not have many parents, but childs appear as parents!! For me, it works perfectly, I have the child listened as if they were parent. Check Philip blogs, it was what I was searching for. Maybe it can help other users ???
