Hi there

Have been developing asite www.flytalk.co.za with dotnetnuke. And have had a huge amount of fun putting the site together. I have been using th DnnBB forum as it was simple and worked very well right off. I decided to try the dotnetnuke forum as it seems to have better layout and functionality but have had difficulty loading it. As I am a point and click person with not real techy experiance I am at a loss

 

The error I get is

EndJob Reading files done.

Failure The 'foldername' element is not declared. An error occurred at , (7, 3).
Failure The 'modulename' element is not declared. An error occurred at , (8, 3).
Failure ExceptionSystem.Exception: Dnn load failed, aborting at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnAdapter_V2.ReadDnn() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

 

Woiuld  anybody mind helping me with this

What is the version of DNN and the Forum version you are using?

This is definately using a Forums 3.10.0 or later on a pre DNN 3.1.0 version.

One of the folder nodes in the dnn file must be removed to do this, I explain it in several other posts in this forum.
