Yea I get the same error.  I am running a W2K3 box with SQL 2005 Express.  New install on my machine. My connection strings look like this:

<!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2000/2005
    <add
      name="SiteSqlServer"
      connectionString="Server=TM-3\MSSQLSERVER;Database=optixwebnuke;uid=nukeweb;pwd=XXXXXX;"
      providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />
   -->
  </connectionStrings>
  <appSettings>

    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2000/2005 - kept for backwards compatability - legacy modules
    <add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Server=TM-3\MSSQLSERVER;Database=optixwebnuke;uid=nukeweb;pwd=XXXXXX;"/>
    -->

I checked my SQL Servers instance name and when I ran the query "Select SERVERPROPERTY ('InstanceName')" it gave me a NULL value.  So that means I am using a default installation of SQLExpress 2005.

Guys any help here????

Ok so I did some more digging and I found this.

I am getting the same page that y2kerx posted.  If I refresh the page I get the following error:

DotNetNuke Upgrade Error

The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] )

ERROR: Could not connect to database.

The type initializer for 'DotNetNuke.Data.DataProvider' threw an exception.

So, I checked my Event Log and I get the following Entry

So if I restart IIS 6 then I get the first error again:

Ok that is enough from me.  Any help guys would be greatly apperciated.
