Hi

I just installed a fresh version of 4.3.5 and am having a problem where a user is getting logged out of a child portal when they navigate from the home page to any tab (with a module on it or not). However, if I register them in the parent portal in addition to the child portal they are fine. the auth cookie is getting hammered but I am not sure why or where to look.

I am running the following modules on the site:

1. Simple Gallery
2. Private Messages
3. Aggregator Module from DNN Stuff
4. Core repository module
5. Efficion Articles
6. Smart thinker events

1. I made sure that cache was not set for all modules.
2. I turned off friendly urls
3. Happens with any skin

There are plenty of posts on the forums regarding this but no specific answers. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the help.

Carl

After a process of elimination and trying various combinations modules etc. I found that the problem was resolved by de-installing the Articles module by Efficion. The peoblem occured when the articles module was installed last. There must be a conflict somewhere with the other modules mentioned in this post as the article module works fine as a stand alone.

I have not had the time to figure out which one but if I do I will post here. Also, there was an error on install that I did not catch and perhaps this was part of the cause as well - the articles modules install threw an error that function "dbo.CSVToInt already exists" although the module worked perhaps this was the cause.

The folks at efficion suggested that I delete the function and retry which I will do and post as well.

Thanks to those that repsonded off line. Hats off to the guys that write these modules and provide support.

Carl
