I have setup a few sites with DNN 4.0.3 and have never had any real problems.

I have been trying to install a copy of DNN 4.3.5 over the last couple of nights with no success.  I finally found out that no records were added to aspnet_roles (and some other tables but TBH Im tired and cant remember).  This is a totally fresh install - not an upgrade.

The problem occurs when I try to login as host or admin (which is kind of important ;))

Is this a known issue or has something changed in the way that I should be installing?

TIA

OK, ignore this - the problem was that the default passwords have been changed (prefixed with "dnn").  Of course I didnt know this because of the file permissions that my hosting provider imposes on me.  I never see the first page :(  It was only after a local install that I discoved that someone decided to change the default passwords- very bad idea imho.  Also, got no "Login Failed" message either which is just plain silly.
