 That's fair enough but I would have expected it to work in some way even as a beta, I've installed this module on 3 different pieces of hardware (one running Win2kserver and two running XP) doing clean installs, using a template, not using a template and had the same issues each time.  I may well have been doing something wrong in the install but I hadn't heard anything on either of my gallery related posts until today so I had kind of given up.  Please see the link below for my other post about the gallery module.

I know this module is free, as is DNN, and I appreciate all the work and time that goes in to each module, do you know when a finished release of this module is due to be released, according to the Blog by Chris Paterra it was going to be July this year?

Sorry to hear about your frustrations with the gallery module. 

The team is actively working on it and is doing some great work, but as others have posted the "released" version of the gallery module 3.0.12 is a beta and has a some known issues.  That is why I put together a patched version which should help stablize the module until the team can finish their changes.  I have been running it for a while and have pushed the features of it and havn't had any problems.  So if you are running DNN 4.x (ASP.NET 2.0) I would highly suggest that you give it a try.

If you decide to go to a different module, there is one callged SimpleGallery which I hear is good, I think it costs about $20.
