After years with DNN you would think I would know this, but I cannot figure it out. So don't slam me too hard if this is a simple thing.

I just want to put a form on a page so that users can register to be on my site. In the past, I was using the UCanUse forms, but I don't really need that much power for this particular site. So I have a page with a text module and I tried to add a User Account module thinking that if the visitor was not logged in that this would provide a registration page. But when I am not logged in it keeps saying that I cannot access this module. I must have lost it somewhere. Please set me straight on putting a user registration form on a page.

Hey... if you're using 4.3.5, careful with that User Account module.  I would only insert this on a new page to begin with -then try to build the rest of the page.  WHen I inserted that module into an existing page, it replaced ALL of the modules on that page with itself - sort-of converted into an ADMIN page.  Those modules were gone for good...

Technically, what you are proposing should work fine.  I've set up that type of page in DNN2...

Cheers!

I am using DNN 3.3.5 and have experienced similar issues. Once I drop the User Account module on a page, then it goes into admin mode and I cannot access any menus, etc. So basically I had to delete the page and start over. I guess I may have to use UCanUse to do my registration.

Does anyone know how to just drop a registration form on a page with other content on the page as well? I thought this should be extremely easy but have not found the trick yet. Thanks.
