Does anybody know where in the SQL Table is hte Verification Code stored,

I registered a few users while testing and the registration preferences were set to "Verified" but the emails didn't get sent or weren't received, now when I go to the User Accounts area it throws an error cause those users haven't verified themselves... now I have 2 options

1. to delete the users in the SQL DB from every location that stores their information

If this is hte solution then can someone list all tables from which the user records need to be deleted

2. Find out what their Verification Code is and then login by supplying that code.

If this is the solution the can someone guide me as to in which tables I can find this code

If someone has some other resolution that will be welcome also

Thanks

I suspect that the code is a generated number based on other things - like UserID and PortalID - hence it may not be stored anywhere (it's quite insecure but it's been like this for years). I think it is checked on the fly.

I used a third party application that did the registration but wasn't capable of sending emails as that was not built in the logic... anyway the publisher is working on getting that functionality in it in a few days... I had already checked the tables asp_membership and users and all other related users and account tables before I made this post and didn't find anything.

Appreciate the quick response

Hey Rodney,

Its true that the number is generated on the fly using some logic of combining the UserID and PortalID as I got an email for one of the test when I used the DNN Registration Process and the number turned out to be 0-5, the 0 seems to be the Portal ID and 5 the User ID, but DNN has to store that number somewhere from where it can verify the user when the user logs in for the first time. If DNN not storing that number in the database then maybe it is storing it in an XML file or maybe directly in the ASP.NET Configuration but I haven't been able to find it.

Appreciate a quick response.
