Hi everybody

Here's a newbie question.

I'm Treasurer in a small club of enthusiasts, we are in the progress of implementing a DNN platform to replace a self developed asp platform.

We have a need to implement a simple webshop where our members are to purchase a "membership" lasting 1 year from purchase date.

Here's a list of required function (or close to)

  • When a purchase has been approved the member should be upgraded to "member" (defined role)
  • When a 1 year membership expires the menber should receive an email notification.
  • Payment by creditcard and paypal
  • Cash payment must be possible too.
  • Regular merchandise
  • Statistics on merchandise and memberships, e.g. who many members do we have
  • Reports, e.g. a list of members

I have been looking around but it seems that everything I have foud so far is so overwhelming - so if anyone kown of a simple solution please let me know - thanks.

We actually used Catalook. It's great and offers Order Details - something the built in store module did not have. You can check it out here www.projecttwenty1.com

I've looked at a few other store modules and find Catalook to do what we needed. Yes, you can also have subscribers after someone made a purchase.

Good luck

Ventrian's solution doesn't offer cash payment.
